Christopher Andrew Hardwicke was born in Los Gatos, California in 1966 to Bernard "Bill" William Hardwicke and Lynn Berryman Hardwicke. He grew up along side his brother Bernard Robert Hardwicke in Los Gatos. Chris and Rob participated in sports year round growing up from little league to AYSO to youth basketball. Chris attended Los Gatos High School and graduated in 1984. Chris still holds the single game scoring record at Los Gatos at 43 points vs. Prospect.

After his mothers death Chris worked at the Los Gatos Athletic Club, played some JC ball, and reentered college in 1989. Chris enrolled in CSUF and then transferred to CSUS in 1991. In 1994 Chris graduated from CSUS with a degree in History. In 1995 Chris graduated from the Teaching Credential School at CSUS. Chris has taught at El Camino Fundamental High School, where he was voted one of the best teachers by the senior class, and Valley High School.

Chris has coached basketball for 17 years at the high school level. Chris has been assisting Paul Casey at Valley since 1995.

On June 26th 1999 Chris married Shannon Seed in Roseville, California. The second best moment of Hardwicke's life!

The best moment of Hardwicke's life was when he accepted Christ into his life! Another big moment in Chris' life took place on June 22nd when Abigail "Abbey" Lynne Hardwicke was born.

Chris currently is teaching U.S. History and World History. He is Valley's social studies steering committee representative, a "teacher academy" teacher, , basketball coach, and leadership board member at River Life Covenant Church.
